Michael vit avec son chien Réno en banlieue parisienne. Un matin, Michael est frappé par une surdité brusque. Ce traumatisme va le pousser à se replonger dans des expérimentations passées jusque dans ses retranchements les plus sombres.

Pendant ses études à l’Ecole Supérieure d’Études Cinématographiques, Dayan David Oualid crée avec des camarades de classe l’Association Des Jeunes Cinéastes Indépendants grâce à laquelle il produira plusieurs courts-métrages et autres produits audiovisuels. En parallèle, il co-réalise avec Luc Finalteri deux courts-métrages d’inspiration biblique et plusieurs clips et publicités. En 2019, il réalise et incarne le premier rôle du court-métrage DIBBUK et fonde la société TROIS JOURS DE MARCHE avec Luc Finalteri, Guillaume Schmitt, Raphaël Pierre-Bloch et Emilie Potet.
Il prépare actuellement un court-métrage intitulé LE PÈRE, LE FILS ET LE RAV KALMENSON en co- production avec LES FILMS DU CYGNE dont le tournage est prévu pour février 2022. La pré- production de l’adaptation en long-métrage de DIBBUK en co-production avec LÉGENDE FILMS est prévue pour bientôt.
Avec une forte volonté de faire cohabiter un cinéma social et fantastique, Dayan écrit autour de thématiques actuelles avec une certaine nostalgie pour les années 90 et, en toile de fond, un univers ésotérique et spirituel assumé.
